Kathleen Sommers has been designing extraordinary clothing for over twenty years, starting out in 1970 making bikinis and pareos in Acapulco, Mexico. Donna Karan was an early client. In 1979 Kathleen opened a store in a charming vintage building in San Antonio and began to build a loyal local following. Her designs went national in 1985, capturing the attention of retail and wholesale customers all over the U.S.

High style should be available for women of all shapes and sizes, and Kathleen Sommers’s Plus line insures that it is. Her signature look – sophisticated color, rich textures, simple lines, fine detailing – is available in sizes 0 – 3X. Kathleen honors “women with curves” with graceful, contemporary designs that enhance and flatter. All styles shown in the online shop are available in Plus sizes.
